Welcome to Losch's Riverview Retreat  

Losch's Riverview Retreat is a unique rental property in the Central PA town of Port Royal.  The property borders our  50 acre farm, formally known as Losch's Riverview Farm Boer Goats.  We offer nightly, as well as weekly rates.  Loschs Riverview Retreat is the entire 1/2 of a large, newly renovated house, offering over 1,000 square feet of living space.  An older, retired couple live in the other portion of the home.  The property is on a quiet (dead-end) street, used only by those living here or visiting our neighbors.  A large back yard borders the beautiful Juniata River, where a variety of outdoor activities abound!  Juniata River Adventures is located directly across the river from our rental property.  Bass & Walleye fishing are excellent in this area!.  People come from all walks of life to enjoy Kayaking, Canoeing & Tubing down the scenic Juniata River.  In the Summer, the water level is such that wading to catch live bait for fishing or just for fun, contents kids (as well as adults) for hours.

Downstairs @ Losch's Riverview Retreat  

The Kitchen features new hickory cabinets, well stocked with cooking & baking pans, utensils, plates, cups & silverware.  A full sized stove, refrigerator & dishwasher are available for those who enjoy cooking or are looking to save money on eating out.  We feel that a coffee maker & microwave are a must in any place we stay, so they are included as well.  The Kitchen table easily seats 4, but has chairs & space to seat 6.

The Living Room is furnished with a comfy couch, which easily converts into a full sized bed.  There is also a matching loveseat.  Cable TV is provided.  There are ports in the front of the TV for the convenient hook up of games such as Nintendo, etc.  The glass sliding door seen in this photo leads out to a wrap-around porch overlooking the beautiful Juniata River.

Upstairs @ Losch's Riverview Retreat

This photo shows the Master Bedroom.  It features a King Sized bed with  2 dressers.  A smaller bedroom with 2 single beds can be seen off to the right of this photo.  There is a pocket door into the area.  The Master Bathroom is located just off the Mater Bedroom as well.  Bed linens provided.

Two Single beds are nestled into this bedroom.   There are shelves and hanging clothing racks on both sides of the room.  This room would be perfect for kids, or others looking for single sleeping arrangements.  Bed linens provided.

The Master Bathroom is nice & spacious.  It has a full sized tub/shower combination, toilet, large vanity with drawers & full sized stacking washer & dryer combination (seen as a reflection in the mirror).  We provide towels, washcloths & fingertip towels.  You will need to bring your own toiletry items........soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
